Taransaud Tonnellerie
Patience, rigour and respect are the hallmarks of the TARANSAUD cooperage approach, which is centred on the close-knit union between wood and wine. During ageing in French oak barrels, wines and brandies acquire the finishing touches to their character and reveal their full complexity. This is what we call a "perfect exchange". In order to achieve it, we use extremely rigorous methods at every stage of the crafting of our barrels and tanks.

Nicolas de Roffignac : Chief Operating Officer
Born in 1962.
Engineer from "Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufacture", 11 years with Solvay in Paris Responsible for Sales and Marketing, and Managing Director of Mag Systems. Joined Taransaud in March 2007.

Jean-Pierre Giraud : Chief Operating Officer - Commercial Director
Born in 1953
Joined TARANSAUD in 1976 as Jean Taransaud's Assistant and launched the cooperage's first wine barrel
In 1978, he set up the Sales Department and launched Export Sales, which now account for over 60% of the cooperage's sales
